The Side-Power SRLP80 (available in 12V and 24V) is a retractable tunnel thruster designed for bow or stern applications on vessels requiring low-profile underwater installation. It features a 90-degree motor orientation to optimize internal space and utilizes proportional speed control (S-Link) for precise maneuvering.

This SRLP80 model runs on either a 12V or 24V DC system, providing 80 kg / 176 lb of thrust at nominal VDC and 96 kg / 212 lb of thrust at maximum VDC. It uses a 185 mm / 7.3 in tunnel diameter and a 4.4 kW / 6 HP electric motor.

For the 12V model, the listed fuse requirement is 400A / SMANL400, with 550 CCA DIN / 1045 CCA SAE minimum battery capacity.

For the 24V model, which reduces current demand compared with equivalent 12V setups, the listed fuse requirement is 250A / SMANL250, with 300 CCA DIN / 570 CCA SAE minimum battery capacity.
The listed boat range for both models is 35 to 48 ft (10 to 15 m).
