The Side-Power SRV80 is a 12V/24V retractable vertical bow thruster designed for boats that require reliable low-speed maneuvering assistance from a system that retracts when not in use. How it Works & Safety Features

The SRV80 retractable vertical thruster operates via a rugged vertical mechanism. When docking, the actuator lowers the thruster unit from the hull; once moored, it retracts back into its sealed casing. For maximum security, the system includes overheat protection that automatically shuts off the unit if high temperatures are detected, along with a mechanical seal of ceramic and carbon for ultimate water intrusion protection.
