The Side-Power SE130/250T-IP thruster is an ignition-protected electric tunnel thruster available in 12V and 24V configurations for compatible bow or stern installations. The Side-Power SE130/250T-IP is an ignition-protected electric tunnel thruster designed for bow or stern installations. Available as SE130/250T-12IP and SE130/250T-24IP, both versions use the same 250 mm tunnel platform, twin-propeller propulsion system, and 6.5 kW / 8.7 hp power rating.
The SE130/250T-IP produces 130 kg of thrust at 10.5V or 21V nominal operating voltage and up to 160 kg at 12V or 24V. The model is intended for vessels in the 42–62 ft / 13–19 m range.
Ignition-Protected Design
The SE130/250T-IP is designed for installations where the electric thruster motor may be exposed to gasoline fumes or moisture. Its ignition-protected assembly conforms to ISO 8846, with the electrical components enclosed within a protective housing.
The thruster also incorporates Side-Power’s Intelligent Power Control system, thermal protection against motor overheating, electronic protection against sudden direction changes, and a flexible coupling between the electric motor and drive shaft.
