The Side-Power SE80/185T  is an electric tunnel thruster for bow or stern maneuvering on boats in the 35 to 48 ft range. It belongs to the SE family and uses On/Off operation, making it different from SEP speed-control models in the same general thrust class.

This side power stern thruster runs on a 12V DC system and uses twin 5-blade propellers in a 185 mm / 7.3 in tunnel. It delivers 80 kg / 176 lb thrust at 10.5VDC and 96 kg / 212 lb thrust at 12/24VDC. The motor output is listed at 6HP / 4.4 kW.

The SE80/185T is selected when the vessel requires the SE80 thrust class, a 185 mm tunnel and a compatible 12V/24V electrical system. It is especially important to distinguish this On/Off model from the SEP80 proportional thruster when replacing an existing Side-Power unit. Confirm voltage, tunnel diameter, battery capacity, fuse, cable sizing, control panel and stern tunnel hardware before ordering.
