Side Power SE80/185T Thruster – 12V/24V On/Off

The Side Power SE80/185T thruster is a DC electric tunnel thruster designed for compatible bow or stern installations. It uses twin 5-blade propellers in a 185 mm / 7.3 in tunnel and is offered with a selectable 12V or 24V power supply.

The SE80/185T provides standard On/Off operation and is listed for boats in the 35–48 ft (10–15 m) range. Rated thrust is 176 lb (80 kg) at 10.5V/21V and 212 lb (96 kg) at 12V/24V.

SE Means Standard On/Off Control

The SE designation identifies this model as part of Side Power’s standard single-speed On/Off thruster range.

This distinction is especially important when replacing an existing thruster. The SE80/185T should not be confused with a SEP proportional-control thruster, even when other installation specifications appear similar.
