Side-Power developed the SRLP-series of speed control vertical retractable thrusters to meet the needs of boat owners who do not have the space to fit a tunnel through the boat’s hull.  Side-Power’s range of proportional speed control DC thrusters allow you to select the power you need for precise boat movements in any weather and sea conditions.  The unique “hold” feature allows you to keep the boat in position at dock or in locks.  Can be used in either bow or stern thruster applications.  The SRLP100/185T is one part of a complete Side-Power thruster system, including tunnel, controls, cables, fuses and battery switches. This model requires a Side-Power supplied frame for installation in composite hulls or a self-made frame for aluminum or steel hulls.
